The Final Countdown- 27th Street Style edition

During the dreaded, but anticipated week of final exams on 27th Street,
it took more than deadlines and deprivation of sleep to keep
these students from looking dapper.

Completely coy for Marcel Floruss's color combination of olive green Levi corduroy's, AllSaints oxblood shoes & grey Michael Andrews Bespoke jacket. His attention to detail is prominent with his Club Monaco plaid shirt & pocket square.

These slouchy Lauren Nevada trousers give a dressed up look a casual, yet chic dress down.

Completing term garments & fashion art isn't so bad when you do it looking as cool as Paige Ehlers. Layer your black fur vest over your leather jacket, paired with your high-top chucks, topped with a beanie & you're good to go.

Who said you can't wear your fur out on a rainy day?

Lexi Backer knows how to make a bold statement in black from head to toe, by adding a silver & gold TopShop chandelier necklace for that extra touch.

Fingers crossed that everyone's test grades look as good as they did while taking them!
Wishing everyone a happy holiday & relaxing winter break

WWD Wednesday: Anna Wintour the Ambassador

At the age of 63 Anna Wintour has been working at Vogue for 30 years 25 of which she has been the editor. There have been many rumors of what Anna Wintour will do next. From becoming a diplomat to entering the entertainment industry, most of the rumors are only that.

The idea of Anna Wintour becoming an ambassador to the U.K. or France has been discussed in the past and was brought up once again this June. The British newspapers, The Guardian and The Independent, made the claim. Wintour’s brother is a political editor at The Guardian, making it seem like less of a rumor and more of the real deal. Bloomberg TV and The New York Times also got involved in the speculation.

Wintour has recently become more involved in politics. She donated $100,000 to the Obama campaign and helped raise over $500,000. It is plausible that a government position would be a reward for such help.

For all of you Vogue readers: don’t get worried yet. Despite the speculation, there are no definite answers as to what her next career step may be. A source of Wintour’s said, “That’s just a hypothetical question. What I know is currently, and she’s very happy with her current job.”
