Men's Mondays: El Pais’

There's something about February air that makes men dress in that rugged-outdoorsy way, whether it's the body sensing an exiting Winter, and the excitement over an approaching Spring, depends on the man himself. Even I, normally imitating Mad Men Menswear, sought out a pair of Billy Reid duck boots to pair with 511 Levi's, and a Topman wool sweater, all for the sake of "manliness."

Denim, Wool, Leather. All that we're missing are the streams & trees in NYC...

Inspiration isn't hard to find either. This week we turn to an editorial shot by Sergi Pons for El Pais' Magazine. Aiden Shaw and Mario Sanz model exactly the look we've been seeing around the pavement this week! Yes, even in NYC can we dress like we're in the middle of the Rockies, and we probably do it better than those living in the Rockies...(just sayin')
The best part about February Air for menswear is the fact that we are able to utilize our Winter wools and mix it up with Spring favorites, you're best with a combo of Winter outwear and sweaters and pulling out some Springtime jeans and sport shirts!

Chestnut Brown Boots are Key to Spring Menswear

Topman: known for their rugged outerwear, sweaters, and boots will be our best source for fashionable winter into spring styles, but hurry fast their Spring collections get lighter and shorter (pant hem and sleeve length) by the day!
Urban Outfitters: probably your best best to find some easy to mix and match flannels and sports shirts that will go great with brown boots and mulch-patterned outerwear and accessories.

One last bit of information for this great Menswear look leading up to spring: if it isn't obvious I'll just tell you, RAID YOUR FATHER'S CLOSET!!!
