Happy Weekend Readers!
In case you are stumped on some things to do, here are a few ideas!
1.)
Stalk Fashion Week: If you want to see what's up in fashion, you can check out
http://www.mbfashionweek.com/home for the schedule, which includes times, locations, and designers. See when your favorite is showing, stalk their venue, and maybe you will catch a glimpse of some stars!

2.)
Visit the Hell's Kitchen Flea Market on 39th St. between 9th and 10th Avenues on Saturday or Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. It was named one of the top 10 shopping streets by National Geographic! They have everything from clothes, to furniture, to jewelry, and more.

4.) Last but not least,
"To coincide with Opening Ceremony’s first solo Fashion Week show,
founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are hosting a weeklong series of
pop-up shops at the southern end of the SuperPier by the water—hence the
name. Shop the fall/winter house label, DKNY for Opening Ceremony and
Rihanna for River Island collections, as well as indie magazines from
the Newsstand—all displayed in refitted shipping containers. Snack on
grub from vendors such as Dominique Ansel Bakery (cronuts!) and Spur
Tree, and pick up goods including Opening Ceremony vintage jean jackets
($290) and Rihanna for River Island high-heel booties ($300). Don’t
leave without checking out the Estée Lauder pop-up salon, featuring
famous nail artist Naomi Yasuda (naomiyasudanyc.com)." (more information at
http://www.timeout.com/newyork/shopping/opening-ceremony-btw) This event will be running until September 12th at 15th St. and West Side Highway.
And when your weekend is said and done, don't forget to visit our
"This Week in the City" spot: The Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy from September 12th - September 22nd.
Enjoy cannoli-eating competitions, live musical performances, and food vendors!
