October 18th - 20th: Check out the New York City Wine and Food Festival for a chance to meet top chefs and Food Network stars and taste some scrumptious food! Proceeds go to the Food Bank for New York City and No Kid Hungry campaigns. Now that's food for thought! October 18th - February 23rd: "The Armory Show at 100: The New Art Spirit explores the role of the famous 1913 New York Armory Show on the occasion of its 100th anniversary from both an art-history perspective as well in the context of its period in United States history. The original exhibition introduced the American public to European avant-garde painting and sculpture and included works by Albert Pinkham Ryder, Childe Hassam, Paul Cezanne, Marcel Duchamp, Picasso and Paul Gauguin. This exhibition assesses the Armory Show from an art-history perspective and includes a carefully chosen group of approximately 75 works. For complete information, visit nyhistory.org."

This Week in the City:
Enjoy the last few days of Madison Square Eats before it closes for the winter. The last day is Friday the 25th.
Special Event: Kick off the Halloween Season with us in Central Park for
a picnic and pumpkin sail. Bring special treats, your sailing pumpkin,
