1st Day of School Best Dressed!!

I had my correspondent Hannah K. out on the streets of FIT today for mass return to the wonderful institution of learning today, and as always there were some sharply dressed students out ready to represent and make FIT proud for it's stylish reputation!

You know what I think makes our school a really great school is the diversity of those who attend it. We all literally come from every imaginable background out there! For richer, or poorer, for more risk-taking or more conservative, for bright and colorful & neutral and chic, I'm proud to see us the student body shine above all other campuses in the USA! Take a look at some noteworthy peers of this great 1st day! What I can say is that it looks like everyone is taking advantage of white before Labor day! (And I hope we all realize that is a stupid rule....)

The Top 5 Back To FIT Apps!

Welcome back to FIT! (Almost) For those of you who are freshmen, welcome to FIT, we -the upperclassmen that is- are here to help you survive what can be the most hectic time of your life!
I sure hope you all have smartphones by now, because if you don't you sure are missing out on some fantastic tools to help you not just survive your years in college, but dominate the playing field and come out with minimal injuries and plenty of fantastic memories!!

For the 2011-2012 school year I have pulled together the best apps EVERY FIT student should have to stay on top of their work, and make the most of the incredible opportunities NYC has to offer (aka parties!).

Let's start with an app to help you with all the group projects you'll have to do this year, because let's face it FIT is OBSESSED with group projects!

1. GroupMe

GroupMe is the easiest way to communicate with your many groups! Setting it up is a cinch and offers your group a UNIQUE PHONE # you can all text to or you can use the apps built-in group chat! No more confusing Facebook threads, and no more "I haven't been at my computer all day" excuses from those not pulling their weight :D Oh and it's FREE!

Summer 2011 is ALMOST over...

And we'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all our readers who have put up with silence since May. It is quite ridiculous for you all to wait so long!
