Listen up FIT!! The time has come yet again, applications for FM226 will start being accepted THIS WEEK!! Let's give those newcomers a little background on FIT's most well known and widely praised STUDY ABROAD FFM COURSE!

Have you ever wanted to go to Europe, or return to Europe with a group of you best friends?! Well FMM226 is your chance to do just that! All while meeting with Europe's top retailers, fashion forecasting agencies, manufacturers, etc.

The Society will give you a brief breakdown, BUT make sure you come to the INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS TOMORROW (TUESDAY) 1-2PM IN ROOM B307
OR WEDNESDAY 5-6PM IN ROOM B506 FOR MORE!!

 The course focuses on living the life of an International Merchant, whether you are a Buyer, in Production, a Designer, a Journalist/Blogger, Photographer, you will be constantly traveling the world in our quest to dominate the fashion industry! And FM226 will take you around Europe learning the ins and outs of traveling and dealing with a multitude of businesses at once.

Among the many companies visited this past summer include: Style Sight, WGSN, Harrods, Selfridges, Topshop/Topman, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Encuentro, Desigual, and many more manufacturers and great industry contacts!

A special thank you to ENCUENTRO!! The Spanish retailer who hosted us for an incredible feast along the Mediterranean Sea after spending the day in their headquarters just outside Barcelona, Spain.

INDITEX Group brand member Massimo Dutti also hosted us for a day in Barcelona, Spain, and we got to explore what today's state-of-the-art distribution centers are like! THEY'RE INCREDIBLE!

ONLY SIXTEEN ARE CHOSEN!! However do not let that keep you from applying! The group of students this past summer ranged from a few driven Freshman to the abroad-job-hunting Seniors looking to leave the states for a European lifestyle.

You haven't had pizza until you've had pizza IN ITALY! Vegan friendly too!

Learn to SHOP, the European way!

You'll make friendships you didn't know would be possible! Or run into your best friends from NY who happen to be in Europe at the same time! (IT HAPPENED TO ME, TWICE!)

Your odds are ZERO if you don't apply! However do attend the information meeting tomorrow 1-2pm or Wednesday 5-6pm to get a deeper understanding of the course and get all your questions answered. I remember sitting in that info session thinking to myself, I'll NEVER be able to go on a study abroad like this....GUESS WHAT IT HAPPENED FOR ME!! And it can happen for you if you try!!
