The Weekender: September 28-30

Dumbo Arts Festival
The Dumbo Arts Festival is taking place this weekend, from Friday the 28th – Sunday the 30th.  Digital artwork will be projected onto the area’s landmarks.  Check out the design fair for interactive pieces, performances, and outdoor activities.   This “three day celebration of art, music, and performance” will take place in the neighborhood around the Manhattan Bridge overpass.   The lineup for this year’s festival will showcase more than 500 artists, 100 studios, and 50 galleries and stages.

Atlantic Antic
During the Atlantic Antic street fair, more than 600 vendors will line the closed down streets of Brooklyn.  Why is this a must see event?  It has been dubbed NYC’s largest street fair.   The fair shuts down Atlantic Ave between Fourth Ave and Hicks Street on Sunday from 12-6pm.  If you haven’t had enough by the time 6pm rolls around, head over to Last Exit (136 Atlantic Ave) where an after-party will be taking place.
