ALEXANDER WANG MENSWEAR!!

Dreams do come true!!

Come Fall 2011 there is a MAJOR addition to the Alexander Wang brand, ready-to-wear men's! Already proving his brand's strength with the opening of a Flagship store, revamp of his online business, and handling two lines (Namesake and T by Alexander Wang), this addition to the formula is no doubt to be a sure hit! Especially if there are as many men out there that have been waiting like I have for this moment!

Must. Have. This. Collection.

Encouraged by the success of T by Alexander Wang (and it's nomination for the Swarovski emerging-designer award for menswear) Wang saw the signs to start the men's collection for Fall 2011. Prices for the collection will pick up where T leaves off, ranging from $375-$1,150. Only one trench reaches the max of $2,150, but because it's all-leather, we'll forgive Mr. Wang for creating something I would probably kill to have, yet will not be able to afford. (wahhhh)
“It started with a lot utilitarian references, something that I’ve always felt a close attraction to,” Wang said. “And the idea of mixing—I’ve always liked to take something very dressy and bring it down, something very, very casual and elevate it.”
The small collection is composed of the Alexander Wang DNA. And I personally cannot wait to see this in stores (which will be limited to few stores such as his own and Barneys), and hope for a Spring 2012 line to follow! Can you imagine what Alexander Wang men's summer shorts must look like?!
