The Top 20 FNO Places To Be & People To See!!

FINALLY!! After a whole year of waiting FNO is back and better than ever! Though the rest of the world is now sharing in what's become Manhattan's shopping event of the year, nothing will ever beat FNO night in NYC! This Thursday, Sept. 8th!

Um yeah...expect crowds MAJOR!
The Society team has been slaving away to get the inside scoop on all of the great parties and events being held around the city this year. So here it is NY: The top 20 for this year's FNO!! Everything from free booze, food, to giveaways and dancing models to party with! Have an amazing FNO and please let us know how your night goes!! I'll start with my #1 recommended place to hit up!


The 1 place you HAVE TO GO TO!
Bergdorf Goodman: (5th Ave @ 58th St.) Stepping up it's game, BG is offering a great itinerary this FNO! Get ready for the long night with guest appearances by beauty experts and complimentary services from Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Clarins, Creative Nail Design, YSL, and more. Once you're beautiful you can meet Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, and Jason Wu at a personal appearance hosted by Vogue’s Meredith Melling Burke. Meet Jason as he signs his limited-edition FNO doll, exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman! Designer Amy Zerner and her husband, author & psychic Monte Farber, will read your tarot cards and answer your psychic questions! (what is it with tarot readings this year?) 
Fashion celebs GALORE at the BG Third Floor Designers and their canine companions (that's right, their DOGS!) hit the catwalk with host James Aguiar and guest judges Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig of Marchesa, Santiago Gonzalez, Naeem Khan, Monique Lhuillier and The BagSnob’s Tina Craig. Designers walking: Alexandra Vidal, Badgley Mischka, Bibhu Mohapatra, Cushnie & Ochs, Jocelyn Gordon, John Barrett, Joseph Altuzarra, aurance Dacade, Lela Rose, Nicholas Varney, Pamella Roland, Reem Acra and Wes Gordon. 7PM on level 3!

Alexander McQueen: (417 W 14st St) will be partying from 6 to 10 pm with a limited number of FNO2011 keys containing a special code which can be entered online for the chance to win an Alexander McQueen Folk Tote! The event will WORSHIP the beautiful Ms. Stone – the current face of Calvin Klein -- and the evening’s “We Love Lara” theme will be featured in the store and its windows. Fish's Eddy: (889 Broadway) is celebrating FNO by debuting their newest collection of Charley Harper dinnerware designed by Todd Oldham. The event will also include a scavenger hunt and raffle. Prizes will include a complete set of Charley Harper dishes, a signed copy of Todd's Charley Harper book and other fun surprises. Great if you still need home goods!

Helmut Lang: celebrate FNO with indie, lo-fi band Best Coast. PARTY! Interactive digital photo booth streaming images from party onto helmutlang.com. Food by Luke's lobster truck (WAIT WHAT?!) and drinks by Death + Company (WAIT...WHAT?!) -BOOZE AND FOOD ALERT MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR!! 

Hermes: (691 Madison Avenue) is keeping their signature sleekness with a simple FNO event from 6 to 8 pm. Enjoy cocktails on the main floor of their boutique and keep your fingers crossed that someone will offer you a Birkin bag for free! (One can dream, or maybe after enough drinks your bag will magically look like a Birkin!)

J. Crew: (99 Prince St.) is having an amazing night with a chance to meet Jenna Lyons, President and Creative Director and Marissa Webb, head of Women's Design. Oak: (28 Bond St.) hosting a Disco Dive to pay homage to the fabulous 1970's in New York. Upstairs they'll have a DJ playing "uptown disco" with interiors curated by Scott Bromley, the architect of the original Studio 54 and downstairs will feature "downtown rock" hosted by the boys from Australian fashion label Ksubi with a garage and psych-rock set list and psychedelic projections. They will also have cocktails and limited edition tees from San Francisco brand Seventh Heart. (BOOZE ALERT)

Topshop: (Broadway & Grand St.) Specialty stores bow down, Topshop has our favorite girls for the night! Models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karlie Kloss, Coco Rocha, Charlotte Free and Chanel Iman will be guest personal shopping. Word on the street is Coco will be doing a Michael Jackson tribute dance towards the end of the night! Enter the FNO competition and be in with the chance to win your own VIP fashion moment!
