Shopping ECST-ETSY: If You're Native and You Know It

Hello and happy Thursday, readers! Who's ready for another riveting Etsy shopping guide? I know I am! And I'm EXCITED about today's finds. If you know me, you know I'm wild for anything Native American-inspired! And didn't I nearly fall out of my chair when I read online today that November is Native American heritage month?

I literally could not be more excited. So what better theme for our Ecst-ETSY post than Native American merchandise?! The e-marketplace has TONS! Here's a few of my current faves:

It's only natural that you buy this set!
First, flaunt your Native pride (it's okay if you're not actually Native!) with some traditional turquoise and silver. This handmade set features a necklace and matching earrings with feather charms. How gorgeous! The seller and maker of this set also has a great store! Check it out here and buy this set here!

I think it's safe to say that every fabulous person you can think of owns a turquoise ring. The list includes Mary-Kate Olsen, Cher, Beyonce, and me to name a few ;) So add yourself, readers! Although, I'm sure many of you already own turquoise rings (and even if you don't you're still fab!) but is there really any thing as too much of anything? Buy this lovely piece here.

How gorgeous are these dream catcher feathered earrings?! Talk about amping up an outfit in a split second! Pocahontas will be jealous. Buy them here.

Looking to wow in an unconventional button down? The medicine woman is in and your cure to boring buffalo checks is here! Rock this eye-catching shirt all winter and feel brighter than a dying star. Did I mention it was made in the USA? Now you're boosting out economy, too. Buy it here.

If you're jonesing for a statement piece for the winter, look no further than this great handmade fringe necklace. It'll go with everything you own (especially black you fashion student, you) and will garner compliments from friend and foe alike. Buy it here.

Even though it's getting colder outside (I know, I know, let's not talk about it.), the sun is still shining so slap these on your face to add spunk to your rosy cheeks! Buy these fabulous handbeaded sunglasses here.

Native bags have been everywhere this season, but if you're like me and don't want just any old bag from any old store, check out this vintage cross-body bag! It's sure to match everything and has enough room for all of the other Native-inspired accessories you're going to buy after reading this entry. Buy the bag here.

Last but not least spice up your shoe rack with these custom hand painted Toms! How cute, how unique, and--let's cut to the chase--how comfy! Your feet will love you. Buy them here!

Yakokí readers! That's "thank you" in Choctaw, in case you didn't know! To further celebrate Native American heritage month, check out the National Museum of the American Indian downtown (it's free!) for some fun exhibits! It promises not to dissapoint.

Here's a picture of me at the National Museum of the American Indian in DC over the summer, too! Silly, I know, but try to get there if you can, too!
