David Beckham Is In YOUR Bed This Valentine's Day!

...Well, sort of! If you get a piece of the David Beckham Bodywear collection, available now at H&M, then it's almost like having that amazing body with you on V-day, right?

Maybe not, but before you all go out and give it a shot, I recommend you take a look at the Merchandising Society review of the collection itself. I, Rony Patzan, went out to take a close look at the collection, the quality, construction, design, to see how it holds up against it's bodywear competitors. I'm happy to say some is great, and I did buy 8 pieces from the collection, but others are a bust you do not want your man encountering on Valentine's Day!

I'll start with the must haves for your man (or yourself, boys ;D) on Valentine's Day: THE UNDERWEAR!! Yup that's right! The three styles of Briefs, Trunks, and Boxer Briefs are a hit!! At $14.95 I was very skeptical about the quality of the fabric and band, but after getting a few pairs in my hands, it is confirmed the materials are of great quality! Very soft cotton, and a great elastic band that can so often be the annoying part in men's underwear. Every color is great, though the grey is most definitely the quickest selling, but the PERFECT shade of grey every man loves.

The Trunks? MUST HAVE. The Tank? Skip!

Now unfortunately for Mr. Beckham, the rest of the collection anyone could live without. The fabric on the tanks, henleys, and long johns, are easily of much lesser quality than what it should be for the $30 price tag. And although that is a low price to pay, you can get a pair of much higher quality 2Xist long johns and $20 tanks for the same price, at MUCH higher quality, and better design. I would also stay away from the Woven Boxers, the fabric is very stiff and can be scratchy for men with sensitive skin! They look nice, but I would never be comfortable in stiff underwear.

Although the "locker room" experience that have been set up at many H&M's encourages you to think about stripping down to nothing and what you'll be wearing in the locker room, it's not enough to make me want to splurge on the $30 henley when I have things of better quality for cheaper.

Is it too late to ask for what we want for Valentine's Day?...

In the end: all the underwear are a MUST HAVE, especially in the Grey color! They all fit fantastic, with the pouch decreasing in size Boxer-Brief to Brief, as it should! If there is one thing every man needs to be wearing this Valentine's Day, it's safe to say David Beckham undies are them, whether it's Trunks or Briefs, that's up to you. They won't stay on for long anyway ;D
